Todd Foreman is a seasoned corporate lawyer specializing in financial services and general counsel advisory. His legal practice encompasses broker-dealer, asset management, capital markets, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, custody, banking, cryptocurrency, corporate governance, employment, and financial services regulation and compliance matters. He is admitted to the bars of England and Wales, New York, Paris, and the Republic of Ireland. Mr. Foreman earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and French from Grinnell College in 1995 and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 1999. Throughout his career, he has served as General Counsel and Senior Corporate Lawyer for multinational financial institutions and global investment firms, including leadership roles in broker-dealer and procurement operations spanning London and Paris. His practice has a strong international focus, advising on cross-border private equity fund formation, venture capital, and secured lending transactions governed by New York, English, and French law. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Foreman serves as a Non-Executive Director at Ruffer S.A., the French subsidiary of the UK-based Ruffer Investment Company, where he provides governance oversight and strategic legal guidance in asset management and corporate compliance.
