CARRIE LEBIGRE, ESQ.
Consulting Counsel to Gonzalo Law
Overview of Experience
A graduate of Columbia University School of Law, Attorney Carrie LeBigre has an extensive background in litigation, investigations, and compliance counseling across a broad range of industries. She has represented clients in complex commercial, employment, intellectual property and civil rights litigation, from pre-litigation discovery through trial and appeal, including proceedings before the Second and Ninth Circuits. She also conducted internal investigations of institutional clients in response to internal complaints of discrimination, regulatory violations, and whistleblower retaliation, as well as in response to government inquiries by U.S. federal and state agencies and E.U. states.
As a litigator at preeminent New York City law firms, Ms. LeBigre specialized in complicated multi-venue litigation requiring the application of New York, California and Delaware law, and in many instances, obtained favorable decisions for her clients from state appellate courts on issues of first impression. Early in her legal career, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Nina Gershon in the Eastern District of New York. She also spent a year as a fellow at Columbia University’s Center for Institutional and Social Change, where she advised universities on employment and education law, with a focus on advising institutions on the development of proactive diversity and inclusion initiatives.
