BIOGRAPHY
Aashna Arora is a dynamic and driven Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration candidate at Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio. She will graduate in May of 2026. As a Norman A. Sugarman Business Law Scholar, Aashna is building a robust foundation in corporate law and business management, combining her legal education with strategic business insights.
Aashna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Michigan State University in 2020, graduating with minors in Law, Justice, & Public Policy, and French. Her academic excellence is underscored by her consistent appearance on the Dean’s List. Fluent in French and Hindi, Aashna brings a global perspective to her work, enhancing her ability to navigate diverse legal and business environments.
Her professional experience spans multiple sectors with a blend of legal, compliance, and client-focused skills. Currently, she is a Law Clerk at Gonzalo Law PLLC in Cleveland, where she supports corporate law practice in drafting and reviewing critical corporate documents and assists in trademark applications, ensuring compliance with USPTO regulations. She also engages directly with clients, drafting communications and participating in consultations, strengthening her client management skills.
Previously, Aashna served as a Law Clerk at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, where she contributed to the Grievance Committee by analyzing attorney misconduct cases and drafting memorandums, affidavits, and complaints. Her analytical skills were further honed during her tenure as an Audit, Risk, and Compliance Rotational Analyst at TIAA in Charlotte, NC. There, she gained comprehensive experience in areas such as AML Compliance, Financial Risk, and Internal Audit Services, and supported compliance officers in risk assessment reporting.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Aashna has demonstrated leadership in academia and extracurricular activities. She is actively involved with the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law as an Associate Editor and Symposium Editor and serves as the Vice-President of the Corporate Finance and Law Alliance. Her role as Director of Marketing for the Spartan Global Development Fund at Michigan State University further highlights her ability to blend law, business, and strategic communication.
