Ms. Macarena Bazan is a Juris Doctorate Candidate at the University of Miami School of Law (Class of 2025).  Her area of practice interest focuses on corporate law and mergers & acquisitions. With a strong academic track record (GPA: 3.84, Class Rank: 17/336), she has been recognized with the Paul and Terrance Dee Endowed Scholarship and numerous academic honors, including Dean’s List (all semesters) and multiple C.A.L.I. Excellence awards.

As a 2L Summer Associate at Greenberg Traurig, Macarena gained hands-on experience drafting corporate legal documents, assisting in M&A transactions, and conducting due diligence. She also holds leadership roles in the University of Miami Business Law Review and is a Startup Clinic Fellow, advising startup owners on IP, risk management, and trademark filings.

Fluent in Spanish, with a passion for Peruvian cuisine, traveling, and 80s music, Macarena combines her passion for the law with cultural fluency and diverse interests.
