Overview of Experience

Harold A. Laufer is an experienced, highly rated corporate business attorney. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, complex deal and business structuring, and significant contract negotiations for the owners and managers of closely held businesses. He has more than 25 years of high-level experience as a senior law firm partner and as General Counsel of a public international technology company. Attorney Laufer has handled a wide variety of transactions for corporate clients, with experience in all aspects of a business’ life cycle, starting with deal structuring and entity formation, and continuing through Founder’s documentation, initial HR, IP, rights and licensing issues, financing, growth, corporate governance and liquidity events and exits.

His current focus is representing closely held companies in all industries with an emphasis on new media and technologies, and on emerging companies that use mobile applications and web and cloud-based platforms.
